Pelatih Caretaker Madura United FC Rahmad Basuki menyatakan pola bertahan pemain klub sepakbola itu perlu terus diperbaiki sebagai upaya untuk meningkatkan performa tim di kompetisi Liga 1 Indonesia 2024/2025.

 

"Kami sengaja fokus pada upaya memperbaiki pola bertahan tim, disamping berupaya mempertajam serangan dan memperbaiki penyelesaian akhir," katanya di Pamekasan, Jawa Timur, Rabu.

 

Selama musim kompetisi 2024/2024 hingga pekan ke-7, klub sepakbola berjuluk 'Laskar Sape Kerrap' ini tercatat sebagai satu-satunya klub dengan jumlah kebobolan terbanyak.

 

Madura kebobolan sebanyak 14 gol dan baru memasukkan sebanyak 7 gol dari 7 laga yang dijalani.

Angka kebobolan ini, paling banyak dibanding 17 tim lain yang menjadi kontestan kompetisi Liga 1 Indonesia 2024/2025.

 

Akibatnya, klub sepak bola yang menjadi kebanggaan masyarakat di Pulau Garam, Madura, Jawa Timur, tersebut kini terpaksa berada di zona merah degradasi yakni di posisi 17 klasemen sementara Liga 1 dengan mengoleksi hanya 3 poin, hasil 3 kali seri, 4 kali kalah.

 

"Tugas ini tentu tidak mudah, karena itu pembinaan kepada tim perlu dilakukan secara telaten dengan mengedepankan kekompakan dan kebersamaan tim," kata 'RB' sapaan karib pelatih caretaker asal Kabupaten Pamekasan tersebut.

RB lebih lanjut menjelaskan, salah satu pemain Madura United memang ada tercatat sebagai pemain paling subur dalam mencetak gol selama kompetisi BRI Liga Indonesia 2024/2025 berlangsung, yakni Luiz Marcelo Morais Dos Ries.

Ia tercatat sebagai pencetak gol terbanyak, yakni mencapai 5 gol dari total 7 gol yang dicetak oleh Madura United FC selama kompetisi berlangsung.

 

Pemain yang akrab disapa 'Lulinha' ini menempati posisi tertinggi pencetak gol di sejumlah klub peserta Liga 1 2024/2025, seperti Privat Mbarga dari Bali United, Dalberto dari Arema FC, Tyronne del Pino dari Persib Bandung, dan Nermin Haljeta dari PSM Makassar.

"Yang dibutuhkan ke depan untuk melanjutkan mengarungi liga ini adalah kolektivitas tim, disamping kemampuan individu pemain," katanya.
